Profile
Sir Ganga Ram Hospital is a charitable multispecialty hospital in Rajinder Nagar, central New Delhi, opened in 1954. It has more than 900 beds, 71 specialties, over 100 specialty clinics and more than 35 operating theatres, and is NABH accredited with NABL-accredited laboratories.
Its departments include liver and kidney transplantation, robotic surgery, surgical gastroenterology and HPB surgery, medical, surgical and radiation oncology, cardiology, neurosciences, orthopaedics, urology and IVF. Imaging includes PET-CT and 3-Tesla MRI. The hospital also runs one of India's largest postgraduate (DNB) training programmes.
For international patients, the hospital issues the medical certificate and invitation letter needed for an Indian medical visa, and a letter for an attendant visa. Treatment is self-pay: the hospital does not bill foreign insurers directly, so patients claim reimbursement from their insurer afterwards.
Orvica can send your reports, with your consent, to the relevant department and bring back a written opinion and cost estimate. We help with visa guidance, free airport pickup, finding a place to stay near Rajinder Nagar, interpreters and follow-up after you return home.
