ORTHOPEDIC TREATMENT IN INDIA

Orthopedic treatment in India

Knee and hip replacement are among the most common reasons patients travel to India. Orthopedic surgeons in Delhi NCR also treat sports injuries, shoulder problems and bone deformities. We get your X-rays reviewed and send you a plan and estimate before you travel.

Medical recommendations come from your qualified treating clinicians.

01

Why choose India for joint replacement and orthopedic surgery

Orthopedic departments in Delhi NCR perform joint replacement every day, including robotic-assisted knee and hip surgery. Patients usually start walking within a day or two and begin physiotherapy before they leave hospital.

Because most of the cost difference between hospitals comes from the implant, we ask each hospital to state the implant brand and type in its estimate, so you can compare like with like.

  • Total and partial knee replacement, including robotic-assisted surgery

  • Shoulder replacement and rotator cuff repair
  • Revision of earlier joint replacements
  • Limb deformity correction and limb lengthening

Choosing an orthopedic hospital and surgeon

Ask how many joint replacements the surgeon performs each year, which implants they recommend and why, and how physiotherapy will continue once you are home.
